ON I-77
Take Exit 1, BLUEFIELD EXIT Go Right at top of ramp.
Take 460 East toward Princeton.
Take left at second Light -MERCER MALL RD.
Go 1 mile and turn left ON ROUTE 123, AIRPORT RD.
Go 6.3 miles turn right at the light onto 52
Go 17.1 miles turn right at railroad tracks on Highway 17 (Norfork-Ashland
road)
Go 5.3 miles Fork left on road that says to Crumpler.
Go up the mountain, through Crumpler and turn right at the guard
rail.
Go 1.7 miles, till the road forks, and take the left fork on WAGON
WHEEL ROAD. (If your trailer is over 30 feet you need to go straight
here and there is a good turn around spot less than a .1 of a mile
on the left).
Go 3.1 MILES.
Campground is one-quarter mile past Wagon Wheel store

FROM BECKLEY WV AREA to
PINNACLE CREEK CAMPGROUND:
(From 64 W take I77N) From 64E take I77S)
From I77…….. take the MacArthur / Sophia exit #42 .
Follow Ramp towards Sophia / Mullens on right. (merge left onto
Route 16)
This will be the “Coal Heritage Trail” Route 16
Go approx 3 miles (you will pass Lester Square Shopping Center on
right)
Keep in LEFT LANE stay STRAIGHT onto the Coalfield Expressway
Follow the Coalfield Expressway to the END
Turn RIGHT onto SLAB FORK ROAD
Continue for approx. 2.1 miles to stop sign TURN LEFT
Go approx. 10.6 miles TURN RIGHT on 16 SOUTH – Pineville
Follow 16 SOUTH thru Mullens (several turns)
Go approx. 2.3 Miles TURN LEFT on ROUTE 10
Go approx. 7.3 miles TURN RIGHT on CRUMPER ROAD ( little side road)
Go approx. 1.8 miles Stay LEFT to dirt road
STAY STRAIGHT ON DIRT ROAD 6.6 miles
GO RIGHT AT FORK in road “Wagon Wheel Road”
STAY STRAIGHT about 3 miles you will come to the WAGON WHEEL…
Pass the Wagon Wheel go straight approx. ¼ mile you will come into
Pinnacle Creek Campground.
WATCH OUT AND YIELD TO ALL ATV/UTV’s TRAVELING THESE ROADS!
